Offhand I'd say you have a hijacker on your machine, and you didn't notice it earlier. Scan (full scan) with all the anti-spywares you can lay you hands on (Windows Defender, Ad-Aware, SpyBot, A-square Free) after making sure they're up-to-date. Run them under safe mode. If it's still not enough, run HijackThis and post its log to their dedicated forums, you'll get expert assistance. -- Pierre Szwarc Paris, France PGP key ID 0x75B5779B ------------------------------------------------ Multitasking: Reading in the bathroom ! ------------------------------------------------

While I don't have that odd looking link, IE on my copy of Vista insists on opening to the IE 7 Welcome screen, even though I've specified Google as my home page.
Quite annoying.

Definately a hijacker or spyware. http://safety.live.com to do a quick scan, and http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/ for HiJack This.

Definately not a hijacker - this is after a fresh installation.
